The Greenway Story & Agatha Christie – Literary Daughter of South Devon with John Risdon – Session 2 of 2

The story of the Greenway estate (which overlooks the beautiful Dart estuary) began during Tudor times and has continued to adapt and change up to the present day. Greenway’s association with England’s heritage and development is a unique and fascinating story. This two week course begins with the merchant adventurers and landed gentry of Henry VIII’s time and concludes with the arrival of Agatha Christie at Greenway in 1938. There will also be details of Agatha’s early life from 1890 to give participants the entire life Greenawaystory of this mysterious Devon woman.
