Mike Langman leads a bird-rich and beautiful walk (approx. 2.5 miles with one fairly steep incline) from Warren House Inn to Sousons Plantation and back. Hopefully enjoying some of the best birds Dartmoor can offer including cuckoo, redstart, winchat, stonechat, siskin and pied flycatcher. In 2017 we watched at close range perhaps the most obliging female cuckoo ever!

Meet at Warren House Inn. Parking available outside pub or in Bennett’s Cross car park, 200m east of the pub. Bring a packed lunch or perhaps enjoy a pub lunch. Please wear suitable walking footwear.
