A walk from Powderham Church to the Turf Locks Pub approx. 2.4miles flat walk there and back. Whilst there are no guarantees of seeing osprey but early September is prime time for their migration and some linger on the Exe Estuary to fatten up on Mullet before migrating south to Africa. There will be plenty of other birds to see too: hundreds, if not thousands of migrating waders.
