Saturday 8th July – noon to 3pm  £10 members and £12 non members

Summer Garden Party at the Eastments’ Join some very kind FoBL members who are
hosting a Garden Party to raise money for more comfortable seating for FoBL events.
Tickets include a buffet lunch with wine or soft drinks and musical accompaniment –
all in great company.

Sailing Trip on Vigilance

Saturday 15th July 9.30am meet for 10am departure, returning at 1pm

Please note spaces are limited to 12 people.  Meeting point: Heritage Pontoon. £20 members £25 non members, payable in advance
Gain a vivid insight into the life and history of the fishermen of Brixham aboard Vigilance, a restored 78 foot heritage sailing ketch. Experience the wonder of sailing – whether you
want to lend a hand hoisting sails or just take a walk on deck. No previous sailing experience needed. Please wear appropriate wind and waterproof clothing.
Rubber soled shoes are advisable.


The AGM will be held on Tuesday 11th July between 6.15pm and 8.30pm
followed by a talk by John Risdon: My Great Atlantic Adventure at Brixham Library
Join the FoBL for their AGM and hear about
the past year and plans for the future. John Risdon will be giving one of his fabulous
illustrated talks, this time detailing some more intriguing stories from his travels.
This event is FREE.

We have been made aware that a number of the FoBL committee will not be standing for re-election and we need more people willing to join us on the committee.  Please do consider doing this as the committee cannot function without your valuable help.
