Join Mike Langman on a summer stroll around the Clennon Lakes to learn about the natural history and birds of the site. Midsummer is the best time for watching dragonflies and damselflies, including the recently discovered in Torbay small red-eyed damselfly. Take a guided walk around the site, watch its wildlife and even try a bit of pond dipping. Many of the birds will have young, hopefully including recently fledged Little Grebe and Tufted ducks, the latter a very rare breeding bird in Devon.

Meet at the entrance to the Velo Park (cycle track) just below Torbay Leisure Centre, Paignton, at 10 am. Parking available at the Leisure Centre car park. Finish about 12 midday.
